The Xerox Quick Link app makes connecting peripheral devices to your Xerox multifunction printer easy—you can be up and running in a matter of just a couple of minutes.
Here’s how it works: if you’re using a mobile device, you simply scan a QR code on the Xerox machine’s display screen and pair your mobile device with the printer. That’s it—you can now start printing from that mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet.
If you’re using a laptop or desktop computer, the process is similarly simple. You tell the app on the printer to send an email with a special link to your laptop or desktop machine. You open the link from your email, follow the onscreen instructions—they’re mostly automated—and there you go: you can start printing from that device now.
The @PrintByXerox App Allows Users to Enable Secure Guest Printing
The @PrintByXerox app is such a useful app, especially if you ever anticipate needing to allow guests to print using your machine.
It works like this: after installing the app on your ConnectKey-enabled Xerox MFP, users will be able to send their documents to a specified email address. At the time of this writing, the address is print@printbyxerox.com. If it’s the first time someone is using @PrintByXerox, they’ll be emailed a password.
Now, at the display screen of the printer, the user can select the @PrintByXerox app, enter their password, and choose which documents they’ve sent to that email address they’d like to have printed out.
It’s a simple, clean, and incredibly easy process.
